Balancing Act

Of WSU's 33,000 students, approximately 25 percent of the undergraduates are nontraditional, starting at 25 or older. Many of the older students are balancing tasks as college students and as parents. Universities are doing their part in making life easier for parents who become students again by offering night classes, childcare and other resources. "In my years here, I've seen many students with children," said WSU representative Molly Brauer.
